Location: Rotherham
Salary: Upto Β£19.80 per hour plus holiday pay (depending on experience and teaching qualification)

The Role
Working at the Groups University Centre Rotherham (UCR), you will predominately deliver the Level 4 Certificate in Supporting the learning of learners with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities. You may also be asked to support across the range of Teacher Education programmes such as the Award in Education & Training, Foundation Degree in Learning Support, BA in Education & Professional Development, Certificate in Education/Professional Graduate Certificate in Education/Post Graduate Certificate of Education and MA in Education & Professional Development.
You will be part of a supportive team, working closely with your Curriculum Leader, to deliver a high-quality Teacher Education provision. You will need to have a flexible approach, as you will be expected to carry out teaching observations off-site, as well as working evenings and Saturdays and possibly working outside term.
Skills and Qualifications
- In this role, you will have a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching and learning.
- You should possess extensive knowledge and understanding of the education and training sector, have delivered successful teacher education programmes and have an excellent understanding of the current skills and capability requirements of employers in the education sector.
- Educated to at least degree level, but preferably masters level, you should hold a full teaching qualification and at least L2 Numeracy and Literacy.
- Experience working with learners with Educational Health Care Plans would also be an advantage.
