An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Registered Manager following a service restructuring. They are seeking a proactive, nurse‑qualified leader with a strong background in complex dementia care and a proven track record of working in Good or Outstanding CQC‑rated services. This role offers the opportunity to lead a service with a renewed focus on quality, clinical excellence, and person‑centred care for people living with dementia.
Key Responsibilities- Registered Manager responsibility with the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high‑performing multidisciplinary team
- Deliver outstanding dementia‑focused, person‑centred care
- Maintain and enhance CQC compliance, aiming for Good or Outstanding outcomes
- Oversee clinical governance, medication management, and risk management
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, professionals, and commissioners
- Drive continuous improvement and quality initiatives
- Ensure staffing levels, training, and supervision meet regulatory and service needs
- Nurse qualified (RGN / RMN) with valid NMC registration
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a CQC‑regulated service
- Currently working in or coming from a Good or Outstanding CQC‑rated service
- Specialist experience and strong knowledge of complex dementia care in young adults
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- In‑depth understanding of CQC regulations and single assessment framework
- Proactive, resilient, and quality‑driven
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care
- Experience of leading improvement plans or service transformation
- Someone who has a good or outstanding reputation with the care quality commission
- Supportive senior leadership and clear strategic direction
