The Role
They are a privately owned and successful property development business with national reach, active across residential, mixed-use, and retirement living schemes. With a reputation for entrepreneurial flair and strategic land expertise, the Group is seeking an ambitious Graduate Land Buyer to join their expanding team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior members of the land team, learning every stage of the land acquisition process from identifying new opportunities to securing deals. You’ll gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, supportive environment while developing the key skills required to succeed in the property industry.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the senior team in identifying both short- and long-term land opportunities across the UK.
- Assisting with the negotiation and acquisition of residential, mixed-use, and retirement living sites.
- Undertaking desktop research and site evaluations to assess planning potential and development suitability.
- Handling day-to-day property and planning enquiries by phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Gathering and presenting key property and planning data to the management team.
- Building and maintaining a strong contact base of land agents, developers, and landowners.
- Providing administrative support including compiling spreadsheets, preparing correspondence, and maintaining filing systems.
