About the Role
Head‑First is recruiting caring, motivated Support Workers to join an established 24/7 care team supporting a woman with a profound brain injury living in her own home in Billericay.
Our client has a brilliant sense of humour and a zest for life. She enjoys cinema trips, the local pub and garden centre, and even took part in the local Race for Life last year! Your role will be to help her enjoy the activities she loves, maximise her independence, and make each day meaningful.
Shifts & Pay
- Rolling 4‑week rota including a mix of days, waking nights and sleeping nights
- £17.50/hour – day shifts
- £18.40/hour – waking nights
- National Living Wage – sleeping nights
- Shifts: 12‑hour days (8am–8pm), 12‑hour waking nights (8pm–8am), and 24‑hour sleeping nights

- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts on a rolling rota, including weekends
- A willingness to learn therapeutic handling, hoisting, personal care, eating/drinking support and communication techniques
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to advocate for a client with limited communication
- Commitment to supporting the client\’s individual therapy goals
- An Enhanced DBS (paid for if needed)
