Our client provides businesses and homes with comprehensive fire, intruder or security systems which are individually designed. They have a reputation built on their commitment to the highest quality standards in security.
The Role
This role will be responsible for customer support and supporting engineering teams ensuring an excellent customer experience in order to support the field-based installation team (x 4) install and service Intruder systems, Fire alarm systems, CCTV, Access Control and Gates and Barriers.
The duties include:
- Provide exceptional day to day office/business support and coordination to field based Security Engineers covering Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Rutland
- Provide excellent customer service ensuring customers receive prompt and diligent support and advice
- Use dedicated software and various Microsoft apps to book work with appropriate detail and information
- Ensure bookings include the technical information held on file for a particular client or location
- Resolve issues, complaints and problems in a timely and professional manner
- Use Outlook and Excel to manage bookings and retain data and records
- Ongoing review, assessment and improvement of business processes and operational costs
- Take card payments over the phone and ensure records and receipts are kept orderly
- Order tools and equipment as required and be aware of orders and deliveries
- Maintain records for the fleet of vans and ensure service requirements and bookings are administered
- Other ad hoc general administration as required
About You
You will be an experienced administrator who is able to provide first class customer service. Due to the nature of the business, the successful applicant will be required to be security screened/police checked.
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in administration/customer service/coordination
- Excellent IT skills with ability to use various Apps plus MS Office (including Excel), Teams, databases etc
