Nursery and Children’s Centre Manager
Location: Ealing
Salary: £56,646 – £58,692 per annum (inclusive)
The Role
The Children Centres offers an integrated service to improve outcomes for pre-school children and their families. Their Centres aim to offer joined up services including education, childcare, family support and health services.
They are looking for a Nursery and Children’s Centre Manager with experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to lead and manage their Windmill Children’s Centre, based in Windmill Lane, Greenford UB6 9FZ. They are a friendly and inclusive nursery that caters for children aged 0 to 5 years old, with a range of abilities and needs. They offer a stimulating and nurturing environment that promotes each child’s individual development and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nursery team to ensure high-quality care and education.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures in line with Ofsted requirements.
- Ensure compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and SEN Code of Practice.
- Support children with special educational needs and their families.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of Level 3/NNEB qualification or other relevant childcare qualifications (defined by Ofsted requirements).
- Substantial experience as a nursery manager or deputy manager.
- A thorough knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Ofsted and SEN Code of Practice.
- A strong commitment to inclusion, diversity and excellence.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- A positive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude.
