We are looking for a motivated and energetic individual to join our dynamic Marketing Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for their own marketing projects, as well as supporting the wider marketing team and school community.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collating and bringing to life the school's newsletters using InDesign.
- Providing photography and content support for school events, with an understanding of GDPR requirements.
- Regular updating of the school's website pages, writing up articles, and choosing/editing/adding photos.
- Managing our social media platforms including posting engaging content, stories and reels, making graphics for social media, liaising on collaborations and providing data analysis.
- Supporting the planning and execution of marketing and admissions events.
- Building strong relationships across the school's departments (academic and support staff) and responding to department requests and enquiries.
- Supporting the Head of Marketing across a variety of tasks, including administrative support.
Person Specification:
- A motivated self-starter, who is well organised and able to keep on top of a busy calendar.
- Experience of running multiple projects, managing deadlines and budgets.
- Ability to work under own steam as well as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt writing style to match our 'tone of voice' guidelines, plus excellent proof-reading and editing skills.
- Excellent IT skills, an understanding of social media management platforms, and good website CMS, Canva, PhotoShop, Premiere Pro and InDesign skills.
- Be able to react quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, a good eye for a story, photo and video.
- Enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude and the willingness to go the extra mile.
- Conscientious, friendly, kind and collaborative.
- Flexibility to support the Head of Marketing and wider school community as required.
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 4.00pm with a 60-minute unpaid lunch break each day (30 hours per week).
- This role is term time (35 weeks) plus one additional week, to be discussed at interview.
Remuneration:
- The salary for this role is Β£15,396 per annum (Β£24,804 per annum FTE).
Holidays:
- Annual leave entitlement is included in the salary for this role.
- Holidays should be taken outside of the working weeks.
