Group Finance Manager
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £42,000 - £49,000 per annum
Vacancy Type: Full-Time
The company are looking for an experienced and commercially focused Group Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day finance function across their growing hotel group.
Working closely with senior management and supported by a Finance Assistant, you will take ownership of management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Manage budgets, forecasts and cash flow.
- Monitor performance against budget and investigate variances.
- Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Review and support the work of the Finance Assistant.
- Oversee payroll reconciliation and financial controls.
- Monitor departmental costs, margins and profitability.
- Manage VAT returns and support year-end accounts and audit.
- Maintain strong financial processes and controls across the group.
- Support the implementation and ongoing use of Sage Intacct and integration with Opera PMS.
- Provide financial analysis and commercial support to senior management.
About You
- Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or similar.
- Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Excellent Excel and financial systems skills.
- Comfortable working across multiple businesses or locations.
- Commercially minded with strong attention to detail.
- Hospitality or multi-site experience would be advantageous.
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified/part-qualified, or strong relevant experience.
