Overview
The Engineering Stores Operative is responsible for the efficient management, control, and organisation of engineering spare parts and maintenance consumables within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role ensures that critical parts and materials are available to support maintenance activities, minimise downtime, and maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- * Receive, check, and book in deliveries of engineering parts, tools, and consumables
- * Maintain accurate stock records using the company's CMMS or stock control system
- * Issue parts to engineers and track usage against work orders
- * Monitor stock levels and reorder materials in line with agreed minimum/maximum levels
