Location: Wymondham
Salary: FTE £24,796 – £25,185 per annum, Pro rata £4,182 – £4,323 per annum, including an allowance for holiday pay
Vacancy Type: Fixed term until 31 August 2028, annualised hours contract of 253 hours per year to be worked over term-time

The College is a member of the Education Trust. The Trust is an expanding multi-academy trust with 13 primary and 9 secondary schools.
The Role
They are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic person with high standards and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with others as part of their school as a Classroom Assistant to support a teacher within the ICT department.
The Classroom Assistant will enable the teacher to deliver high quality lessons in ICT by supporting with learning support, classroom organisation, and behaviour and environmental management. The Classroom Assistant will have a strong relationship with the Teacher of ICT and be line led by the Head of ICT.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with non-teaching tasks such as supporting students with log-ins, managing minor technical issues, and distributing or collecting materials.
* Contributing towards & maintaining a calm & structured learning environment in class.
* Helping to monitor classroom dynamics, offering support to individual students during whole-class instruction, and reducing disruptive behaviour.
* Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
* Attend relevant meetings as required and participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
* Assist with the supervision of students out of lesson times, including before and after school.
* Accompany the Teacher of ICT and students on visits and out of school activities as required.
* Undertake other similar duties and activities that fall within the grade and scope of the post, as directed by the Principal.

The qualifications and experience required of a Classroom Assistant are:
* A minimum of a grade C / 4, or equivalent, in English and Maths GCSE.
* Previous experience supporting adults desirable.
* Previous experience within ICT desirable.
* Experience of working with children desirable.
