Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for a CAD Technician to join our team at our office in Quadring, near Spalding. MBE (Fabrications) Ltd design, manufacture and install a range of prefabricated steel maintenance pits for the commercial vehicle industry across the UK and internationally. Additionally, we also manufacture bespoke steel substructures for various below ground applications, from gym landing pits to sumps for large industrial machines.
To be considered for this role you must be able to fully prepare technical drawings accurately and efficiently. You will liaise with the Sales Team and workshop staff to ensure that all works orders have been properly specified ensuring that all work is delivered to the highest standard.
Junior CAD Technician Requirements:
- Excellent time management
- Confident communicator and ability to work as part of a team
- A proficient level of general IT skills
- Experience using Autodesk AutoCAD
- A capability of using 3D Modelling software would be beneficial
- Knowledge of steel fabrication would be desirable but not essential
- High level of technical drawing skills
This role would ideally be suited to a graduate who is looking to start their career in a CAD design technician role. Full product knowledge and training will be given to the successful candidate.
This position is Full Time, Monday to Thursday from 8:30 to 17:00, and 8:30 to 16:00 on Fridays, however some overtime may be required. There may also be occasional site visits.
