Sales Executive Location : Barnsley (In office) Salary: £23,000 – £24,000 per year For our clients, theres much more to selling advertising at the than just filling the gaps between the stories. Alongside the printed newspaper which has served the people of Barnsley since 1858, they have successfully launched a series of flagship events such as the Proud of Barnsley and Young Champions awards and the #Myfuture recruitment fairs. They also have two hugely popular websites and publish a range of specialist supplements and magazines. All of them need to attract sponsorship and advertising support to make them viable. That is where you come in… The Role Theyre looking for a sales person to work across our portfolio of publications, events and other exciting ventures. Its a very varied role that will involve identifying, approaching and – crucially – convincing commercial partners to support their ideas so that they can actually make them happen.
