Salary: £23,225 per annum The Solicitors are an independent, award-winning law firm offering legal advice and help to both individuals and businesses across Sussex. The Role They have two exciting opportunities for Legal Assistants in their friendly team in their Conveyancing team in Eastbourne and their Private Client team in Peacehaven and Seaford. You may be looking to take your first steps into a Legal position, or you may already have experience. Key Responsibilities The Legal Assistant will provide direct support to the Practitioner, for example by: Assisting clients both in person and by telephone, providing support in a professional and friendly manner; Making appointments, arranging meetings and diary management for the Practitioner; Providing support and guidance to other members of the team and wider team; Preparing correspondence and documents including audio-typing; File management; Preparing mail and enclosures for despatch; Arranging for all copying to be completed; Securing the confidentiality and security of the firms client documentation and information; Committing time to training and self-development.
