Mobile LGV Mechanic - Southampton and Chichester Region (Full-Time, Permanent)

We're looking for a self-motivated, skilled and experienced Light Goods Vehicle (LGV) Mechanic to join our team in a full-time, permanent mobile technician role. This position involves servicing and repairing fleet vehicles across multiple client depots. Occasional support required at other depots.

About Us

We provide contract maintenance and repair services for major fleet operators across England. Our work is focused on keeping commercial vehicles running reliably and safely - on time, every time.

The Role

As a Mobile LGV Mechanic, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our clients' vehicles are maintained to the highest standard:

  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
  • Carrying out general servicing and repairs, including brakes, clutches, suspension, exhaust systems (including EGR and DPF), timing belts, and wiring.
  • Identifying and resolving faults reported by customers through test drives and inspections.
  • Completing all relevant documentation, including digital job cards.

Requirements

  • Proven mechanical experience working on light commercial vehicles - a hands-on mechanic background is essential.
  • Willingness to start early mornings and travel to support other depots when required.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday.
  • A full UK driving licence.
