About the Role
We are looking for a dependable and professional Minibus Driver to join a busy team. Working Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for transporting passengers to and from designated locations and activities, ensuring a safe, punctual, and friendly service at all times.
You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of safety, safeguarding, and vehicle care, while representing the organisation in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers on designated routes and activities
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic weekly maintenance checks
- Ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and roadworthy
- Maintain accurate passenger registers and transport records
- Monitor routes, traffic conditions, and delays
- Promote positive behaviour and ensure safety at all times
- Report incidents, delays, or vehicle faults promptly
- Comply with all road safety, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations
Person Specification
- Valid D1 or PCV driving licence
- Previous minibus driving experience preferred
- Strong understanding of road safety and compliance
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Calm and confident when working with passengers, including children
- Committed to safeguarding and welfare
- Flexible and a team player
