Subject Teacher - Maths & Science
Location: London N1 2QH
Salary: From £32,412 per annum
Contract: Term time + 4 weeks (39 weeks per year)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Start Date: 1 August 2026

About the Role
We are seeking a committed and inspiring Maths & Science Teacher to join the Middle School (Years 7β9, including GCSE preparation).
You will deliver engaging lessons across Maths and Science, including both weekly teaching and immersive block lessons, tailored to a range of abilities. This role offers the opportunity to teach within a creative and values-led educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths and Science lessons
- Prepare and conduct practical experiments safely
- Monitor pupil progress and produce reports
- Maintain and organise subject materials and resources
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
- Contribute to school events, trips and assemblies
- Support safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion
- Work with the SENDCo to support pupils with additional needs
- Participate in meetings, training and professional development
About You
Essential:
- Degree in a relevant subject
- Teaching experience
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Desirable:
- Recognised teaching qualification
- Waldorf/Steiner training or experience
- Experience teaching large classes
- Interest in Steiner education and Anthroposophy
