We are seeking an inspirational and committed Deputy Headteacher to join our senior leadership team. Working closely with the Headteacher, you will play a central role in shaping the strategic direction of the school, driving school improvement, and ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and pupil wellbeing.

    • Maintain high standards of behaviour through consistent and fair approaches

  • Teaching, Curriculum and Assessment
    • Ensure high-quality teaching and learning across all subjects and phases
    • Deliver a broad, structured, and coherent curriculum
    • Promote evidence-informed approaches to assessment and reading
    • Develop strong curriculum and subject leadership
  • SEND and Inclusion
    • Champion inclusive practices so all pupils can access the curriculum
    • Hold high expectations for pupils with SEND
    • Ensure compliance with statutory duties under the SEND Code of Practice
    • Collaborate effectively with parents, carers, and external professionals
  • Leadership, Management and School Improvement
    • Contribute to the strategic vision and ethos of the school
    • Support effective systems, policies, and processes
    • Ensure safeguarding, welfare, and risk management are robust
    • Manage staff workload and allocate resources efficiently
    • Identify barriers to school effectiveness and lead improvement initiatives
