About the Role
Are you a passionate and creative dance professional looking to inspire the next generation of performers? We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Dance & Performing Arts Teacher (50–70%) to join a dynamic Performing Arts team from September 2026. This role is based primarily within the Junior School, with additional opportunities to contribute to extra-curricular activities across Senior School and Sixth Form. You will deliver engaging lessons across a range of dance styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Street Jazz, and Acro. The successful candidate will play a key role in choreographing productions, supporting performances, and contributing to a vibrant and inclusive Performing Arts programme.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and develop the dance curriculum within the Junior School and Nursery
- Teach a broad range of dance styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Street Jazz, and Acro
- Choreograph and support school productions and performances
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Performing Arts curriculum
- Deliver high-quality teaching and engaging learning experiences
- Support rehearsals, showcases, workshops, and productions
- Lead and develop extra-curricular clubs and enrichment opportunities
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the Performing Arts team

Person Specification
- Experience in dance teaching, coaching, and choreography
- Strong dance background; relevant qualifications (e.g. ISTD, RAD) desirable
- Knowledge of musical theatre and a wide range of dance styles
- Experience in contemporary, hip hop, street, salsa, or non-Western forms desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive and supportive relationships with students
