A dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner is required to join a Nursery team in a full-time, all year-round position. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to provide structured play and development opportunities for children aged 2–4, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment that supports early learning and wellbeing.
- Supervise children and ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times
- Support children with meals, snacks, and personal care
- Observe, assess, and maintain records of children’s development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the Nursery
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent evenings
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in childcare, or willingness to train
- Previous experience in an early years setting
- Good level of English and numeracy
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Reflective, creative, and enthusiastic in supporting early years learning
