About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our Nursery team. This is a full-time, all year-round position working 42.5 hours per week between 7:30am and 6:00pm. You will work as part of a team to provide structured play and development opportunities for children aged 24, ensuring a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment that supports their early learning and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise children and ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate play and learning activities
- Support children with meals, snacks, and personal care
- Observe, assess, and maintain records of children's development
- Prepare and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
- Set up and clear away activities, ensuring equipment is safe and appropriate
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, communicating daily
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the Nursery
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent evenings
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene
Person Specification
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in childcare, or willingness to train
- Previous experience in an early years setting
- Good level of English and numeracy
- Ability to create safe, engaging, and stimulating activities
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Reflective, creative, and enthusiastic in supporting early years learning
