Polyframe is looking for Window Fabricators / Production Operatives to join its manufacturing team in Lenwade. This is a practical, hands‑on role making uPVC windows and doors. It would suit someone who has worked in window fabrication, door manufacturing, glazing, beading, frame assembly, uPVC production or a similar factory role using hand tools, air tools or machinery.
Shifts available:
- Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 2.00pm
- Monday to Friday, 2.15pm to 10.15pm
What’s on offer:
- Permanent, full‑time role
- £12.76 per hour starting rate
- Progression to £13.06 and £13.81 per hour
- Realistic progression within 3 to 6 months after training
- Weekly bonus scheme, based on targets
- £20 per week shift allowance for the PM shift
- Fixed Monday to Friday shifts
- 22 days’ holiday, rising to 25 days with service, plus Bank Holidays

What you’ll be doing:
- Working as part of a busy production team manufacturing uPVC window and door products.
- Cutting uPVC profiles
- Reinforcing and welding window frames
- Attaching handles and mechanisms
- Using hand tools, air tools and production machinery
- Beading and glazing windows
- Checking finished products for quality
- Handling and loading window frames safely
- Working to production targets
- Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe
What we’re looking for:
We are especially keen to hear from people with experience in:
- Window fabrication
- Door manufacturing
- uPVC or aluminium fabrication
- Glazing, beading or frame assembly
- Factory production using hand tools or power tools
- Practical assembly‑style manufacturing
You do not need to have done this exact role before, but you do need to be practical, reliable, hands‑on and comfortable working in a busy production environment. Previous window or door experience would be a strong advantage.
This is a good opportunity for someone who wants stable, permanent factory work with fixed shifts, weekly bonus and a clear route to increase their hourly rate as they complete training.
