About Us
Ddol Fach Dairy (Little Meadow Dairy) is a well-established, family-run business founded in 1935. We distribute fresh milk across Carmarthenshire, Swansea, Neath, Port Talbot, Bridgend and the Rhondda Valleys, supplying wholesale customers including supermarkets, petrol stations, hotels, restaurants, cafés, schools and care establishments.
The Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Van Driver - someone who really dives into great service, to join our team. The role involves working on an established wholesale delivery route covering Llanelli, Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading the delivery van with stock from warehouse storage areas
- Delivering milk and dairy products to wholesale customers
- Stock rotation and shelf stocking at delivery locations
- Carrying out basic inventory checks and stock counts
- Returning the vehicle to the warehouse at the end of the route
- Maintaining a professional and courteous relationship with customers
Essential Requirements:
- Good level of spoken and written English (Welsh preferred but not essential)
- Minimum 6 months relevant van driving experience
- Full secondary education
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Good numeracy and problem-solving skills
- Professional, diplomatic and customer-focused manner
- Valid right to work in the UK
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Ability to converse in Welsh
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
