E M Horsburgh Ltd is a well-established, family-run business operating for over 30 years, delivering high-quality bus and coach school transport, and contract work across the Lothians. With our own fully equipped garage and a growing fleet, we are now looking to recruit an experienced and motivated PSV / HGV Mechanic to join our team in Livingston.
The Role
As a Mechanic, you will play a key role in ensuring our fleet remains safe, reliable, and roadworthy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
- Replacing and fitting vehicle parts in line with company standards
- Responding to a wide range of vehicle breakdowns
- Working both independently and as part of a team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have at least 2 years’ experience as a PSV, HGV, or commercial vehicle mechanic
- Be self-motivated, reliable, and proactive
- Thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
