UK PAT is a small, friendly, family-run compliance business with a strong and growing client base across the South East. We work across a wide range of sectors and pride ourselves on doing things properly, without pressure selling or corporate nonsense.

This is a new role that is developing, with real opportunity to grow and shape how the position works as the business continues to expand. You will be working directly with the Managing Director and supported by an established team.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced self-employed PAT Tester to support our increasing workload. You will be responsible for carrying out Portable Appliance Testing at client sites, representing the business professionally, and delivering a reliable, high-quality service. There is no sales element to this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out Portable Appliance Testing across a range of client sites
  • Work across multiple sectors including commercial and education
  • Accurately record test results and certification
  • Communicate professionally with clients on site
  • Maintain a high standard of work and attention to detail
  • Legionella Assessments carried out - Full Training Given

  • Proven experience as a PAT Tester
  • Strong understanding of PAT testing regulations and best practice
  • Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
  • Personable and professional when meeting clients
  • Full UK clean driving licence preferred
