Fit-Out Estimator / Quantity Surveyor (Commercial Interiors)Manchester (M30)Full-Time | Permanent£50,000 - £60,000 (DOE)UK work authorisation requiredWhats on OfferPerformance-related bonus rewarding your impactFlexible start and finish times to support work-life balance22 days holiday + bank holidaysChristmas shutdown periodOn-site parkingLife & accident coverThe OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Estimator / Quantity Surveyor with a proven background in commercial fit-out to take ownership of both pre-construction estimating and live project commercial management .This is not an entry-level role - we are specifically seeking someone confident running projects commercially from tender stage through to final account .Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate, competitive tenders for interior fit-out projectsInterpret drawings, specs, and BOQs with minimal supervisionSource and analyse subcontractor & supplier packagesManage project budgets, cost reporting, and forecastingHandle valuations, variations, and change controlTake projects through to final account agreementSupport procurement and commercial negotiationsLiaise with clients, PMs, designers, and external QS teamsWhat We Need (Essential)3+ years experience in a QS / Estimator role within fit-out or interiorsDemonstrable experience managing projects commercially end-to-endStrong understanding of fit-out packages (joinery, M&E, finishes, etc.)Ability to price from drawings without heavy hand-holdingExperience with variations, valuations, and final accountsHigh level of commercial awareness and attention to detailStrong Excel and estimating software skillsDesirableRelevant qualification (QS, Construction Management, or similar)Experience working with retail or fast-track fit-out programmesWhat This Role Is NOTNot a trainee or assistant positionNot purely estimating or purely QS - this is a dual-role positionNot suitable for candidates without fit-out/interiors experienceAbout UsPBH Shopfitters Ltd is an established commercial fit-out specialist delivering high-quality projects across the retail, leisure, and commercial sectors nationwide.
