Are you an experienced Accountant looking for a varied, client-facing role where you can take ownership of your work and continue developing your career? We are working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Ludlow who are looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of an Accountant.
Working predominantly with owner-managed businesses across a broad range of sectors, you’ll enjoy plenty of variety and exposure, managing work from start to finish and building strong relationships with clients. Whether you’re AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, newly qualified or already qualified, we’d be keen to hear from you if you have relevant accountancy practice experience.
The Role
- Preparing year-end accounts, including accounts from incomplete records
- Preparing business tax computations
- Working across cloud accounting packages including Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
- Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries
- Corresponding with HMRC and other relevant agencies
- Visiting client premises where required
- Managing workloads effectively to ensure client deadlines are consistently met
- Developing strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Supporting the wider team and contributing to the continued growth of the practice
