We are seeking Ecologists of all levels for an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing Environmental Consultancy. We have vacancies in Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham, Derby and London.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Ecological consultancy or Field Ecology as a background (UK experience is essential).
- Full membership of CIEEM (Chartered Ecologist preferable).
- Project management experience, ensuring projects are delivered within time and budget requirements.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant aspects of UK and EU environmental legislation and national and local planning policies and processes.
- Experience in reviewing technical reports, providing support and clear constructive feedback.
- Experience in producing and reviewing high quality technical reports.
- A clear, up to date understanding of Biodiversity Net Gain, Biodiversity Impact Assessment, UKHABS survey methodology and the DEFRA metric calculators.
- Ideally at least one protected species license.
- Full UK driving license.
