Our client is seeking to hire a seasoned Interim Finance Director on a 6 months FTC contract to lead their finance team of 10 through a time of change and transformation. You will be willing and able to work in the city of London, in the office 4 days a week, and will have tried and tested experience of leading finance departments to deliver improvements across all areas of the finance function.
You will bring with you a fresh pair of eyes to evaluate the current status-quo and how the department currently operates. Your expertise will advise upon areas of change needed such as finance systems, processes and information. You will then be able to lead and initiate the necessary change and support the CEO in recruiting a permanent successor.
You will also support the CEO and senior stakeholders with all commercial finance matters and ensure that the business is compliant with all accounting regulations and that the organisation has a successful year-end audit by liaising and co-operating with the appointed advisors.
The successful candidate will have both not-for-profit reporting experience as well as commercial accounting exposure. More than anything, you will have an appetite for change and improvement and come from a professional interim standpoint where you can share your diverse exposure to various different business types and sizes.
Salary £115k-£130k pro rata. Ideally you will be immediately available, or available at short notice.
