Our client, an independent asset management firm, is seeking a Head of Operational Due Diligence to join their London team.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Conduct operational reviews, review legal documents and significant service providers, as well as prepare ODD reports for proposed new investments.
- Present the results of the pre-investment due diligence and work with the Investment team to resolve any issues identified during the process.
- For existing investments; monitor procedures, including producing reports, review annual audited financial statements, provide support on any corporate action.
- Keep up to date with relevant regulatory developments and compliance requirements.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations.
- Prepare business risk assessments, conduct operational reviews, and prepare detailed reports of proposed candidates to their UCITS platform.
- Annually, review the audited financial statements, the key service providers, and all sub-funds, producing reports where required.
- Continue to develop and improve the sustainability program, including SFDR requirements and any client specific ESG mandates.
- Continue to review internal business practices and policies to improve internal operations, and review key vendors for any operational concerns.
Key Requirements:
- At least 7 years’ experience within operation due diligence team.
- An accountancy qualification.
- University degree.
