Our client, an FMCG business, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within the financial reporting function, supporting accurate month-end processes, driving improvements, and partnering closely with operational teams. Please note this role will be 5 days per week in their Southall office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of a timely and accurate month‑end close
  • Prepare and post journals including accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments
  • Take ownership of cost centres, including reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights and highlight trends
  • Assist with budgets, forecasts, audit processes, and external reporting

Key Requirements

  • Part‑qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or a strong academic background (minimum 2:1 in a relevant subject)
  • Previous experience in a finance or analytical role, experience with month‑end close is advantageous
  • Advanced Excel skills, including handling large datasets and modelling
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Dynamics 365) and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) is advantageous

Our client provides support if you are studying your ACCA or CIMA including paying for your exams. This role is 5 days per week in Southall, you must live within a commutable distance. Our client is unable to provide sponsorship, you must have full right to work within the UK.
