ALEXANDER DANIELS are partnering with a well-established Accountancy Practice that is looking for a Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join its growing team. The Role:
- You will manage a varied portfolio of SME clients across a range of sectors, taking ownership of client relationships and providing expert accounting and business advice.
- Managing a portfolio of limited company, partnership, and sole trader clients.
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts.
- Reviewing management accounts and bookkeeping work.
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax and personal tax returns.
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients and responding to day-to-day queries.
- Advising clients on business performance, growth, and financial matters.
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
- Identifying opportunities to add value and develop client relationships.
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
About You:
- ACA or ACCA qualification (or be qualified by experience).
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
- Experience managing a client portfolio.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- A proactive and commercial approach to client service.
- Experience with cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
