ALEXANDER DANIELS are working with an exciting business based in Coventry who are looking to recruit a senior accountant. They are a modern, forward-thinking accountancy practice with a strong focus on helping clients grow and succeed. While they provide the full range of accounting, tax, and advisory services, what really drives them is building long-term partnerships and supporting businesses through every stage of their journey. This is an office-based role with 1 day working from home.

The Role

This position involves taking ownership of reviewing and finalising accounts and tax work, ensuring everything meets statutory requirements. You'll also play a key part in developing junior team members, helping them strengthen their technical skills and confidence. We're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering a high-quality client experience and who can ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support the production of statutory and management accounts
  • Review and assist with self-assessment, corporation tax, and partnership tax returns
  • Prepare and review dividend and interest planning calculations
  • Build strong relationships with clients through clear, proactive communication
