A well-established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple payrolls, and delivering a high level of accuracy and service. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring payrolls are processed accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end processing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls across a varied employee base
  • Managing employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding, payroll amendments, and leaver processing
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring employee data is up to date at all times
  • Calculating and processing salaries, overtime, commissions, bonuses, expenses, and other payroll adjustments
  • Administering statutory payments and deductions in line with current legislation
  • Preparing and submitting payroll information to HMRC, including RTI reporting requirements
  • Managing PAYE, National Insurance, pension contributions, and auto-enrolment obligations
  • Investigating and resolving payroll queries promptly, providing a professional service to employees and clients
  • Liaising with HMRC, pension providers, and other external parties as necessary
