Finance Business Partner

Finance Business Partner required for a superb retail business based in Solihull, West Midlands. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join a high-growth business, expanding organically and through an aggressive acquisition model, in a role that will shape the future of the organisation\’s commercial finance function. This role truly is focused away from the routine of month end, instead focusing on FP&A, financial modelling, investment appraisal, and sales, margin and pricing analysis.

Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering, the Finance Business Partner will be responsible for :

• Production of weekly and monthly financial results / P&Ls with full analysis and commentary
• Weekly meetings with senior operational managers to convey financial position and suggest change
• Working with the senior commercial finance leaders to build investment appraisal models for new stores
• Analysis of sales and margin figures, and using financial models to suggest new pricing structures
• Comparison of monthly financial results to budget / forecast, and reforecasting as appropriate
• Production of cash flow forecasts / cash flow analysis, and supporting the budget-setting process
• Supervision of junior finance staff to support month end and FP&A activities
