The Role
As Management Accountant, you'll play a key part in driving financial accuracy, insight and control across the business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing monthly management accounts, financial statements and key reports
- Analysing financial performance and providing clear commentary to senior leaders
- Highlighting risks, trends and opportunities, and recommending practical solutions
- Enhancing processes, controls and reporting within the finance team
- Reviewing and improving financial systems and data flows
- Presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders in a clear, accessible way
- Leading monthly forecasting activity and supporting budgeting cycles
- Overseeing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring robust financial governance
- Supporting and mentoring colleagues within the finance department
- Taking ownership of additional ad-hoc tasks to support business needs
What You'll Bring
- Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging non-finance teams
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with SAGE and Excel
