Alexander Daniels have partnered with a growing, multi-site organisation to recruit a Senior Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to take ownership of key financial reporting while supporting and mentoring a developing finance team. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality management accounts, driving process improvements, and providing commercial insight to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of monthly management accounts, including full P&L and commentary
- Review and improve month-end processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Line management and development of junior finance staff
- Review forecasts and budgets, challenging assumptions and adding commercial insight
- Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting cycles
- Oversee reconciliations, journals, and technical accounting areas
- Build strong relationships with operational stakeholders and present financial insights
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and support audit processes
- Identify and implement process improvements across the finance function
About You
- Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Strong technical knowledge of P&L and balance sheet
- Confident reviewing work and mentoring junior team members
- Excellent communication skills
