This opportunity is suited to an ACCA or CIMA finalist, or a part-qualified accountant, to join an accounts function responsible for delivering accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and operational support across the business. This position offers great hybrid working flexibility and a supportive working environment. The team plays a key role in preparing management accounts, analysing performance, and ensuring balance sheet integrity, while also supporting stakeholders with budgeting and financial understanding.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing monthly profit loss accounts across multiple business units
- Investigating and analysing variances against budget and forecast
- Supporting non-finance stakeholders in understanding financial performance and key drivers
- Managing and maintaining operational expenditure systems
- Providing support and resolving finance-related queries from operational teams
- Producing weekly and monthly KPI reports
- Preparing various ad-hoc financial reports and analysis
- Completing quarterly VAT returns, including partial exemption calculations
- Assisting with budget preparation and processing
