Alexander Daniels are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant for a business based in the Oldbury area. This role offers great exposure in a growing business, working closely with the Financial Controller you will gain invaluable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review profit and loss accounts, calculating and posting accruals and prepayments as appropriate.
- Reconciliation of various balance sheet control accounts.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis for divisional and finance management.
- Review sales and stock losses and investigate variances across all business units.
- Support the budget generation and forecast submissions.
- Processing and reconciling intercompany accounts.
- Assist with the Audit process.
- Provide support to the transactional team both Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger.
- Establish and maintain relationships with business unit teams and third parties.
- Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role (2 - 3 years).
- Good IT Skills (particularly Microsoft Excel).
- Pro-active and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively using email and telephone.
- Compliance with the company values and required levels of the competency framework.
