The Role

As Management Accountant, you'll play a key part in driving financial accuracy, insight and control across the business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing monthly management accounts, financial statements and key reports
  • Analysing financial performance and providing clear commentary to senior leaders
  • Highlighting risks, trends and opportunities, and recommending practical solutions
  • Enhancing processes, controls and reporting within the finance team
  • Reviewing and improving financial systems and data flows
  • Presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders in a clear, accessible way
  • Leading monthly forecasting activity and supporting budgeting cycles
  • Overseeing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring robust financial governance
  • Supporting and mentoring colleagues within the finance department
  • Taking ownership of additional ad-hoc tasks to support business needs

What You'll Bring

  • Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging non-finance teams
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with SAGE and Excel
  • A proactive, collaborative approach
