About the Role

Are you passionate about music, artists, creators, and the wider creative industries? Do you have experience working within a record label, music publisher, artist management company, live events organisation, or the wider music or creative industry? We are looking for a commercially minded, relationship‑driven individual who genuinely understands the world of artists, singers, songwriters, music producers, DJs, managers, publishers, labels, and the live music sector. This is not a traditional recruitment role. We want someone who can confidently engage with creative talent, understand their ambitions, and help them identify the right training and development opportunities to accelerate their careers.

As a Short Courses Recruitment Advisor, you will be responsible for driving enrolments across AD Education UK’s industry‑leading short course portfolio at ICMP and SAE UK. You will build relationships with aspiring and established creatives, guide them through the enrolment journey, and help them invest in their professional development. Acting as the primary point of contact for prospective students, you will engage with musicians, producers, songwriters, artists, DJs, content creators, and creative professionals through consultations, events, open days, workshops, and networking opportunities.

Alongside recruitment and sales activity, you will provide accurate and comprehensive information about our courses, enrolment procedures, finance options, and the overall student experience. You will support applicants throughout their journey, ensuring they receive professional guidance and an outstanding level of service from first enquiry through to enrolment. You will also work closely with Admissions, Marketing, Academic and Operations teams to support the successful delivery of short courses across the AD Education UK group.

This is a target‑driven role suited to someone who thrives on building genuine connections, identifying opportunities, and converting interest into enrolments while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. Principal Responsibilities

  • Sales and Leads Management
    • Acting as a first point of contact for applicants and enquirers considering studying a short course program.
    • Serve as the primary contact for short course applicants, handling inquiries via phone, email, and in‑person during core business hours in accordance with SLA agreements.
    • Engage in one‑on‑one calls with prospective students to address course‑related questions.
    • Maintain an organized recruitment database for reference and generate regular recruitment reports, including conversion rates and lead quantity metrics.
    • Oversee the Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce) CRM system, ensuring accuracy and implementing best practices for lead organization and reporting.
    • Welcome applicants at taster sessions, auditions, maintain accurate records, and explore further educational opportunities with short course students.
    • Send registration and payment details to all hot leads and follow them through to the Revenue Tracker so that enrolment is swift and easy for our Admin staff.
    • Provide expert guidance on recruitment and onboarding processes and contribute to setting realistic revenue and recruitment targets for Industry Short Courses.
    • Outline and implement and employ comprehensive “Lead Nurturing” processes for all short courses.
    • Maintain and update lead and revenue tracking systems to support weekly reporting for Short Courses.
    • This role involves monitoring cancellation rates, providing monthly portfolio reports, and analyzing the volume of leads versus sales to assess conversion rates.
    • Provide expert advice on all processes relating to student recruitment and onboarding, adhering to internal policies relating to financial and Visa Compliance.
    • Actively promote and upsell all Short Courses.
    • Accurately maintain all records for all applicants and follow operational procedures, maintaining accurate contact and interaction records.
  • Recruitment & Operations
    • As directed by the Short Courses Manager deliver the “Lead Nurturing” process and continually feedback around ways to improve the workflows.
    • Provide oversight and regular reports on all recruitment activities; including metrics on conversion rates and target lead quantity.
    • As directed by the Short Courses Manager sell‑inappropriate course bundles, progression pathways, and promotions.
    • As per the agreed recruitment events schedule organise, host and deliver regular “Recruitment Events” both online and in person for all courses to enhance conversion rates.
    • Deliver & identify key areas for improvement in recruitment and sales processes and implement effective solutions to increase conversion rates.
    • As directed by the Short Courses Manager establish and cultivate relationships with partner schools and relevant businesses to recruit students onto Industry and Avid courses.
    • Supporting the Short Courses Manager and the Marketing team to develop recruitment and sales assets that facilitate conversions and enhance the student onboarding experience.
    • Support the Short Courses Manager advising on achievable revenue and recruitment targets for Industry and Avid Short Courses.
    • As directed support where necessary the operational delivery of short courses, ensuring that each course is accurately listed on the website and that room bookings are finalised at each campus to facilitate a seamless student experience.
    • Assist and support the account management and operational delivery of the Avid Pro Tools portfolio, and other industry and commercial relationships as required.
  • Admissions
    • Sending course offers to applicants within the agreed timeframes.
    • Ensuring applicants have the necessary fee and payment information.
    • Emailing PDF version on the course‑specific acceptance brochure as well as sending hardcopies.
    • Communicating with applicants that have not replied to course offers to encourage them to accept.
    • Follow policy and procedure as set out by the Admissions & Recruitment Director in relation to VISA.
    • Assisting with the training and mentoring of new and junior colleagues in the team.
    • Work with the Visa Compliance Manager to ensure student‑route visa procedures are adhered to for incoming students.
    • Ensure that applicants, enquirers and supporters have a high‑quality experience when engaging with the admissions process.
    • Support the wider marketing and recruitment function by attending open days and events where required.
    • Assist with the conversion of applicants to students by maintaining strong relationships with potential students throughout their applicant journey.
    • Support the short courses manager in the management of financial processes and customer purchases including the prompt processing of refunds.
    • As directed by the Short Courses Manager, elevate and solve customer complaints within the agreed SLA timeframes, keeping a log for monthly reporting and improvements.
    • Ensure compliance with data protection legislation and GDPR regulations in handling personal data.
    • Support the delivery of the Avid Learning Partnership (ALP) covering the full range of Pro Tools courses.
  • Other Duties
    • Reporting to the Head of Student Services on any emergent SEND, Health & Wellbeing and Health and Safety with respect to students.
    • Any other duties appropriate to the role, as designated by the Dean, Marketing Director and Short Courses Manager.
    • Participating in relevant internal and external training as directed by the business.
