Acxiom is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join our Omnicom Agency partnership team. This is a focused audience sales role - you will be responsible for selling Acxiom's premium audience data products into Omnicom's media agencies, helping Omnicom’s planning and investment teams activate smarter, more targeted campaigns for their advertiser clients.
Working alongside senior members of the Omnicom Partnerships team (including Acxiom’s Client Partner as well as Acxiom’s Data Analysts and Data Guru team), you will develop relationships with media planners, audience strategists, and data leads across Omnicom media agencies including OMD, PHD, Hearts Science, MGOMD, UM, Initiative and Mediahub. You will become a trusted resource for these teams - helping them understand how Acxiom data can improve campaign targeting, reach high-value consumers, and deliver measurable results for their clients. This role offers strong mentorship, clear progression, and the chance to build genuine expertise in the audience data and media marketplace.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Audience Sales into Media Agencies
- Open up new opportunities and briefs and drive revenue by selling Acxiom's audience data products - including consumer segments, modelled audiences, and custom audience solutions - into Omnicom media agencies.
- Develop relationships with media planners, audience and data leads, and investment teams who are the primary buyers and recommenders of audience data within agency teams.
- Respond to agency briefs and proactively pitch Acxiom audience solutions that align with client campaign objectives across digital, CTV, programmatic, and addressable channels.
- Support and, over time, lead conversations with agency teams to recommend the right Acxiom audience products for specific client verticals, campaign types, and media environments.
Pipeline Sales Execution
- Identify, qualify, and manage a pipeline of audience data opportunities across Omnicom media agency brands.
- Prepare tailored proposals, audience recommendations, and campaign rationales to support agency pitches and client planning cycles.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunity records and activity logs in Salesforce CRM.
- Track revenue against targets, maintaining visibility of closed business, in-flight campaigns, and upcoming briefs or upsell opportunities.
Agency Enablement Education
- Help agency teams build familiarity and confidence with Acxiom's audience portfolio - through regular touchpoints, product updates, and informal education sessions.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date one-pagers, audience cards, and pitch materials that make it easy for agency planners to recommend Acxiom audiences to clients.
- Stay current with Acxiom's audience product roadmap and communicate new segments, capabilities, or partnerships to agency contacts in a timely way.
- Gather feedback from agency teams on audience performance, gaps, and wish-list segments - and feed this back into Acxiom's product and data teams.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Acxiom's audience product, data, and campaign delivery teams to ensure agency and client needs are met from brief through to activation.
- Coordinate with the broader Agency Partnerships team to ensure a joined-up approach across Omnicom agencies and avoid duplication of effort.
- Share market intelligence on agency audience buying trends, competitor activity, and emerging client priorities with internal stakeholders.
ABOUT YOU
Required Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in a media sales, audience data sales, account management, or agency-facing role within media, AdTech, or data.
- Familiarity with how media agencies plan and buy audience-targeted campaigns - ideally with experience selling into or working alongside media planning or investment teams.
- Some understanding of audience data concepts: consumer segmentation, demographic and behavioural targeting, modelled audiences, and activation across digital channels.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline or commercial relationships, with a track record of hitting or contributing to revenue targets.
- Comfortable using Salesforce CRM or similar tools to manage opportunities and activity.
Skills Competencies
- A genuine passion for audience data and media - you find it interesting how brands use data to find and reach the right consumers.
- Confident communicator who can explain audience products clearly to media planners and buying teams with varying levels of data literacy.
- Commercially motivated, with the drive to grow revenue and build lasting agency relationships.
- Well-organised and responsive - agency teams move fast, and this role requires someone who keeps on top of briefs, follow-ups, and deadlines.
- Collaborative and curious, with a willingness to learn and develop expertise in Acxiom's audience products and the broader data marketplace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience selling audience data, third-party segments, or data solutions into media agencies or programmatic buying teams.
- Existing relationships within Omnicom media agencies are a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with programmatic and addressable media ecosystems - DSPs, DMPs, CTV, and how audience data is activated in these environments.
- Exposure to audience data providers, data marketplaces, or identity platforms (e.g. LiveRamp, The Trade Desk, Adobe Audience Manager).
- A degree in business, marketing, media, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience.
