We are seeking a dedicated Crested Operations Team Leader to join us on a permanent, full-time basis.
About The Role
Reporting directly to the Cresting & Purchasing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our shop floor operations. No day will ever be the same, but some of the things you will be doing are:
- Managing a team of embroidery, heat print and Q-Mark machine operatives on a day-to-day basis ensuring that holiday and absence is recorded and reported in the correct way, one to one’s are completed and that any performance issues are dealt with effectively always maintaining a professional approach and ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Leading team members on works order data and the programming of the crested machines.
- Ensuring all team members are working to and maintaining a high standard of quality and performance.
- Ensuring all daily and weekly machine checks are completed.
- Maintaining stock level management and re-order points for all consumable items.
- Managing processes for correct thread and needle selection.
- Ensuring that the bracketing and re-packaging of crested product is completed to a high standard.
- Overseeing quality assurance checks and actioning spoils as per process.
- Ensuring KPI timelines are met and any issues communicated to management.
- Maintaining strong working relationships within all departments of Acushnet.
- Adhering to organisational policies, including record retention and health and safety.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the ability to work and meet targets under your own initiative. The ability to bring experience and expertise of embroidery machine operation is a must. The ideal candidate will have had previous experience in a supervisory role.
