Acushnet Europe is seeking an experienced Customs & Import Manager to oversee our import and export operations across the UK and EU. You’ll be the go-to expert for customs compliance, duty management, and process optimisation, ensuring shipments move efficiently and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage AEO authorisation and support customs audits.
- Maintain and process the Langdon Duty Management System, ensuring correct duties and VAT are paid on time.
- Handle import invoice processing, matching purchase orders and goods received to supplier invoices, and managing freight charges.
- Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Product Management, and external partners.
- Monitor regulatory changes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce risk across EMEA.
- Proven experience in customs import operations, duty management, and freight forwarding.
- Hands-on experience with customs declarations, documentation, and compliance audits.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work across teams.
- Experience with Langdon Duty Management and familiarity with financial processes such as accruals, invoice matching, and audit preparation.
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or relevant work experience. UK and EU customs certifications preferred.
