Professional Services | Vendor Side. Salary up to £80K (depending on experience) plus car allowance. Fully remote with some travel to customer sites (not frequent).

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager- Clinical Applications to join our professional services organisation, managing a team and leading the delivery of clinical software implementations to NHS customers. This is a team management role, combining hands-on consultancy (up to 50% billable utilisation) with line management of implementation consultants. You will be accountable for high-quality customer delivery, team utilisation, and contributing to the commercial success of professional services engagements.

Responsibilities for the Practice Manager- Clinical Applications:

  • Accountable for performance of implementation consultants, embedding consultancy principles and driving growth, utilisation, and profitability.
  • Align leadership strategy and vision with customer expectations and team delivery to ensure high-quality engagements.
  • Develop long-term customer relationships, grow revenue, plan for team growth and profitability, accelerate advanced delivery models, and promote consulting strategy.
  • Ensure consultants understand customer requirements.
  • Lead consultants in analysing customer workflows and configuring products accordingly.
  • Manage individual and team performance to meet utilisation targets, optimise project time, and address underperformance.
  • Provide regular management reports and maintain project trackers.

About you:

  • Proven experience in a vendor-side professional services management role (Practice Manager, Consulting Manager, Consulting Team Leader).
  • Background delivering clinical applications such as EPR, EHR, PAS, ePMA, OCRR or similar (Hands-on implementation not Project Management).
  • Experience leading or managing consultants in a delivery environment.
  • Strong understanding of customer workflows and value-based software adoption.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to balance utilisation, quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Comfortable travelling to customer sites across the UK as required, but not frequent.
