Job Description:
We are seeking Personal Care Workers to join our team on a casual basis, providing high-quality care to the elderly in their homes to maximize their independence and quality of life. We are passionate about creating positive experiences for both our clients and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Accompanying clients during daily activities
- Assisting with mobility and transportation – MUST have comprehensive car insurance
- Food preparation and shopping, arranging or accompanying social activities and outings
- Performing domestic assistance tasks such as cleaning, washing, ironing, and folding clothes
- Assisting with personal care and hygiene such as showering, dressing, shaving, hair, and makeup
- Traveling up to 30 minutes to complete services
About You:
- Minimum Cert-3 in Individual Support - Ageing/Disability or extensive experience in a similar role
- Must have own car & comprehensive insurance
- First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- National Police Check within 12 months or willingness to obtain
- Flu & COVID vaccinations
- Willingness to commit to short client services, noting that all travel time is paid as part of working hours
- Ability to speak a second language such as Mandarin, Spanish, Arabic, Farsi, Italian, Greek, Polish, etc., is desirable
