Job Description:

We are seeking Personal Care Workers to join our team on a casual basis, providing high-quality care to the elderly in their homes to maximize their independence and quality of life. We are passionate about creating positive experiences for both our clients and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Accompanying clients during daily activities
  • Assisting with mobility and transportation – MUST have comprehensive car insurance
  • Food preparation and shopping, arranging or accompanying social activities and outings
  • Performing domestic assistance tasks such as cleaning, washing, ironing, and folding clothes
  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene such as showering, dressing, shaving, hair, and makeup
  • Traveling up to 30 minutes to complete services

About You:

  • Minimum Cert-3 in Individual Support - Ageing/Disability or extensive experience in a similar role
  • Must have own car & comprehensive insurance
  • First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
  • National Police Check within 12 months or willingness to obtain
  • Flu & COVID vaccinations
  • Willingness to commit to short client services, noting that all travel time is paid as part of working hours
  • Ability to speak a second language such as Mandarin, Spanish, Arabic, Farsi, Italian, Greek, Polish, etc., is desirable
