We’re working with an organisation delivering critical services at scale, seeking experienced Senior Technology Resilience & Cyber Security Advisors to support a complex and evolving technology environment.
This role focuses on advising across the secure and resilient design, delivery, and operation of systems, ensuring services remain available, recoverable, and aligned with regulatory expectations.
The Role
You’ll provide practical, risk-based advice to senior stakeholders, project teams, engineers, and risk owners, helping to embed secure-by-design and resilience principles across cloud, IT, and operational technology environments. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll support the delivery of major programmes, influence decision-making, and help ensure systems are designed to withstand and recover from disruption, with cyber security as a core component of overall resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on the secure and resilient design, delivery, and operation of systems and services
- Support risk owners in managing technology and cyber risks, including regulatory obligations
- Contribute to the development of standards, architectural patterns, and resilience strategy
- Prepare and present assurance reports, KPIs/KRIs, and risk updates to senior stakeholders
- Promote improvements across resilience capabilities, governance, and operational processes
- Support the adoption of a proactive security and resilience culture across the organisation
About You
- Experience in a cyber security and/or technology resilience advisory role within complex environments
- Strong understanding of risk management, resilience, and secure-by-design principles
- Familiar with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and NIS Regulations
- Broad technical knowledge across infrastructure, cloud, networks, and applications
- Confident engaging with stakeholders and translating technical concepts into clear guidance
Additional Information
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline
- Certifications such as CISSP or CISM are beneficial
- Must be eligible for BPSS and CTC clearance
