What You'll Do
- Serve as the strategic and scientific lead on key client accounts, providing oversight and guidance across therapeutic areas and deliverables.
- Build, mentor, and lead a growing team of medical writers, analysts, and consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and accountability.
- Ensure the highest standards of scientific and editorial quality, accuracy, and relevance across all content.
- Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a variety of medical affairs projects.
- Oversee the development of high‑impact deliverables, including medical education, training materials, publications, scientific platforms, and congress content.
- Contribute to business development efforts through proposal development, client pitches, and expansion of existing relationships.
- Provide strategic input into service line growth, innovation, and operational effectiveness, identifying opportunities to evolve and strengthen our Medical Affairs offerings.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging client needs within the Medical Affairs landscape.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by proactively identifying opportunities to support their strategic objectives and address unmet needs.
- Support internal initiatives that drive quality, efficiency, and innovation across the organization.
What We're Looking For
- Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD, or MSc required).
- Prior consulting experience.
- 7+ years of experience in medical communications, scientific affairs, or related roles within pharma, biotech, or consulting environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and manage evolving client needs and priorities.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for project outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Proven leadership experience, including direct people management and strategic client leadership.
- Solid business acumen with a track record of building and growing client relationships.
- Experience managing complex, multi-stream projects and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- A collaborative, proactive leader who brings integrity, curiosity, and strategic vision to their work.
