As a Senior Consultant within the Global Value & Access team, you will take a leading role in shaping project strategy , driving high-quality delivery , and serving as a trusted partner to clients across the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. You will apply deep expertise in Market Access,

HEOR , pricing and reimbursement, and evidence strategy to guide decision‑making in complex and fast‑moving environments.

You will lead multiple workstreams with confidence, ensuring methodological rigour , well-structured narratives, and impactful recommendations . You will be responsible for steering teams , maintaining strong client engagement , and overseeing high-quality outputs across diverse project types, from

HTA and pricing strategy to evidence synthesis, qualitative research, and landscape analysis.

Senior Consultants are influential contributors to client relationships.

You will proactively identify opportunities, steer conversations, manage complex discussions, and help guide cross-functional alignment both internally and externally.

You will also play a key role in developing junior team members , coaching others, reviewing work to ensure quality and consistency, and creating an environment where teams perform at their best.

This role builds the strategic leadership and commercial capability required for progression towards a

Manager , where ownership of full client accounts, multi-project oversight, and thought leadership become central responsibilities.

  • Apply advanced HEOR frameworks, economic evaluation methods, and HTA principles to guide strategy discussions with clients.
  • Lead pricing and access strategy thinking across countries and therapeutic areas.
  • Demonstrate mastery of Excel, Power Point, and Word to produce or review complex, client-ready materials.
  • Guide teams in applying appropriate methodologies, frameworks, and analytical approaches to diverse project types.

  • Design, oversee, and review structured literature reviews with strong methodological rationale.
  • Drive evidence synthesis approaches for complex evidence packages, HTA submissions, or multi-country assessments.
  • Guide qualitative study design, moderate interviews or advisory boards, and provide oversight of thematic analysis.
  • Lead survey design, complex quantitative analysis, or model interpretation with commercial insight.
  • Data Analysis & Evidence Interpretation
  • Validate analytical outputs and integrate insights into strategic narratives.
  • Guide teams in selecting quantitative or qualitative methodologies that align with project objectives.
  • Ensure that data-driven insights clearly support strategic recommendations and client decision needs.
  • Writing & Storytelling
  • Write or review full reports, including pricing/access strategy, HEOR narratives, HTA-facing content, and strategic recommendations.
  • Create persuasive slide decks with compelling storylines tailored to client objectives.
  • Ensure that outputs reflect strategic coherence, clarity, a high standard of consulting communication and meet client objectives.
  • Presentation & Business Development
  • Lead sections of client presentations, confidently handling Q&A and guiding discussions.
  • Deliver strategic workshops, advisory boards, or cross-functional client sessions.
  • Shape proposals, including objectives, frameworks, timelines, budgeting, and methodological approaches.
  • Identify opportunities for follow-on work and contribute to broader business development and internal initiative activities.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant, you will refine your leadership, deepen your technical expertise, and expand your client-facing responsibilities.

Progression at this level typically involves

  • Leading full projects or multi-country workstreams independently
  • Guiding strategic client conversations and owning key relationships
  • Designing and overseeing evidence, pricing, and access approaches across project types
  • Coaching and developing team members to deliver high-quality work
  • Influencing internal processes, methodologies, and best practices
  • Contributing to commercial growth through BD involvement and client engagement
  • Acting as a thought partner to Managers and Senior Managers in shaping complex strategies

Strong performance at this level prepares you for progression to the Manager role, where broader account leadership, strategic ownership, business development, and cross-project oversight become central.

Education

  • Degree-level qualification (2.1 or above preferred) in a health-related, analytical, or numerical scientific discipline, such as:
  • Health Economics, Public Health
  • Maths, Statistics, Econometrics
  • Biochemistry, Natural Sciences, Life Sciences
  • Engineering, Operational Research, MORSE

• Advanced degree (MSc, MRes, MBA, Ph D) strongly preferred in

  • Other analytical, quantitative, or health-related disciplines

Skills & Capabilities

  • Extensive experience delivering Market Access, HEOR, pricing and reimbursement, evidence synthesis, or analytical consulting work, including leading workstreams or full project components.
  • Proven ability to design, justify, and lead quantitative and qualitative research approaches, ensuring methodological rigour and alignment to client needs.
  • Ability to interpret complex data, integrate multiple evidence sources, and translate insights into commercially relevant recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent command of English (CEFR C1/C2), including the ability to lead client-facing discussions and provide high-quality written outputs.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel functions for data analysis and model interpretation.
  • Experience with reference management software (e. g., End Note, Zotero) and/or analytical/statistical tools (e. g., R, SPSS, Stata, Python) is advantageous and increasingly expected at this level.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including coaching colleagues, reviewing others’ work, and supporting high-quality delivery across teams.
  • Ability to work with professional maturity and independence, managing complex client interactions and contributing to strategic discussions.
