About the Role
Acumetis is seeking an experienced and proactive Learning & Development Manager to provide maternity cover on a 9-month fixed-term contract, with a high likelihood of extension to 12 months. Reporting to the Global L&D Director, you will play a key role in delivering our global, skills-based learning strategy, supporting workforce capability development, compliance training, leadership initiatives, and learning programs that drive business performance.
Working across international teams, you will coordinate and implement learning solutions, manage learning data and reporting, support the integration of acquired businesses, and help embed a culture of continuous learning. The role will also support the development of client-facing consulting capabilities and ensure compliance training requirements are met across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver global learning and development initiatives aligned to Acumetis’ skills and capability framework.
- Support the implementation and adoption of a global skills taxonomy across regions and acquired businesses.
- Manage compliance training programmes, tracking completion rates and supporting risk mitigation efforts.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop targeted learning solutions.
- Support leadership development, onboarding, and other strategic talent initiatives.
- Maintain and analyse L&D data, producing reports and insights to inform decision-making and workforce planning.
- Collaborate with business leaders to strengthen client-facing and commercial capabilities.
- Support the administration and continuous improvement of learning systems, processes, and technologies.
About You
You will have proven experience in Learning & Development, ideally within a global or multi-regional organisation, with strong stakeholder management, project coordination, and data analysis skills. Experience managing compliance training programmes and supporting capability development initiatives is essential. Experience in professional services, consulting, life sciences, or pharmaceutical environments would be advantageous.
