Acumentis is growing, and we're looking for experienced Residential Valuers to join our Sydney team. This isn't a standard mortgage-valuation role β we want valuers who bring genuine breadth, with a strong track record across both mortgage and non-mortgage work. You'll work across a diverse client base spanning community housing providers, financial institutions, government, and private clients, with exposure to areas such as family law, litigation, council, and asset/financial reporting valuations. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality residential valuations across a broad range of purposes, including mortgage security, family law, litigation, council, and financial/asset reporting.
- Build and manage relationships with a diverse client base, including community housing providers, financial institutions, government bodies, and private clients.
- Provide accurate, well-reasoned valuation reports within agreed timeframes, keeping clients informed of progress.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of the local property market and keep the job management database up to date.
- Contribute to business growth through marketing activity and, where relevant, bringing existing client work with you.
- Uphold Acumentis' professional and quality assurance standards across all valuation work.
Skills And ExperiencesDesired Skills
- Proven experience across both mortgage and non-mortgage residential valuation work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with sound judgement under pressure.
- Established relationships with clients such as community housing providers, financial institutions, or government bodies.
- Ability to manage a varied and high-volume caseload independently.
Essential Skills
- You hold a relevant tertiary qualification in a related field.
- You hold a Valuer qualification (CPV β Certified Practising Valuer) and current API membership β note this is a strict requirement governed by the property valuation industry's governing body.
- You hold a current and valid Australian Driver Licence.
- It is a condition of employment that staff are to obtain National Police Clearance (paid for by the business).
